2005 Year In Review
Wow, we can't believe how quickly this year flew by. It was a fun year with lots of good memories
In February, Abby’s mom visited us and we had the perfect weather at Golden Gate Park as we explored the Conservatory of Flowers and filled our tummy with hot tea at the Japanese Tea Garden.
In June, we flew to Chicago to attend cousin Kathy’s wedding, and melted under the scorching humid heat at the Taste of Chicago event, and had the best ever extra deep-dish pizza at Giordano’s.
In July, we celebrated our first year wedding anniversary and got to eat a year old cake!! And survived to tell the story!!
July 30th, we ran on a very chilly, foggy morning, from The Embarcadero, across and back the Golden Gate Bridge to Golden Gate Park along with 5000 other crazy runners at the San Francisco half marathon.
In September, we explored the beautiful Mendocino coast, slept in a converted water tower and were in awe at the magnificent gigantic redwoods along the Avenue of the Giants.
In October, Abby and her mom braved the chilly weather and crowded subways for 5 days of sightseeing in New York City; While Andrew spent quality time with his parents in Virginia.
Our first time preparing thanksgiving dinner! A success with Andrew’s delicious braised duck.
And as the end of the year draws near, realizing that Sun is not rising anytime soon, Andrew moved on to a new job at W&W Communications.
